Who we are

Sahrène Systems is a software studio based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We operate sahrenesystems.tech and property.sahrenesystems.tech (Sahrène Property). In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Sahrène Systems, the responsible party for the personal information described here.

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to send us through our forms:

• Contact form on sahrenesystems.tech: your name, email address, company (optional), the kind of software you are building, your project budget range and your message.
• Waitlist form on property.sahrenesystems.tech: your name, email address, how many properties you manage, the plan you are interested in (optional) and anything you tell us about your situation (optional).
• When you send a form, it goes to our website first. Our website checks it and passes only the details listed above to our form provider. We do not pass on your IP address or browser details.

What we do not collect

• We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
• We do not set cookies, and we do not store anything in your browser’s local or session storage.
• We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project.
• To manage the Sahrène Property waitlist, including telling you when the product is ready and asking for your feedback.
• To understand what our clients and future users need, so that we can improve what we build.

We only contact you about the reason you got in touch, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Service providers

• Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the code that checks form submissions. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages securely, and may keep short-lived technical logs for security and reliability.
• Forminit (forminit.com) stores form submissions for us once our website has checked them.
• Google Fonts delivers the typefaces used on this website. Your browser requests the fonts directly from Google’s servers, so Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Google states that it does not use this information to build profiles of visitors or for advertising.

Some of these providers may process information on servers outside South Africa.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and waitlist details only for as long as we need them for the purposes above. For example, we keep them while we are discussing a project with you, or until Sahrène Property launches and you have had the chance to decide whether to use it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you may:

• ask whether we hold personal information about you, and request a copy of it;
• ask us to correct or delete your information;
• object to us using your information, including for direct marketing;
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.

Security

This website is served over encrypted HTTPS connections, and form submissions travel directly from your browser to our form provider over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us.

If the way we handle information changes, we will update this page. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
